The Luftverk x CLYW Tundra titanium return top was one of the most anticipated collaborations of 2016, and the production run sold out incredibly fast. We had a great time working with our friend Jeffrey Pang on this project, even if we ran in to a snag that we hadn’t counted on.
Nearly the entire stock of Electric Green and Lemon Pink had an issue with the bearing seat that caused vibration. We assembled and tested and tuned and unfortunately found that these return tops just were not up to Luftverk or CLYW standards, and had them marked as Fool’s Gold.
These Fool’s Gold Tundras still have a lot of play in them, and the sparks they throw from walking the dog on concrete are amazing!
